Nostalgia strikes again...
Hello again dear reader,
I have to admit to not being very active these past few months with either the blog or solo gaming. The plan is to re-energize my efforts on the latest bug to bite me, Labyrinth Lord (LL) by Goblinoid Games. This retro ruleset harks back to the days of Moldvay/Cook D&D, full of nostalgia and updated rules. More of an in-depth Labyrinth Lord review will come later, but for a quick taste, go directly to the Goblinoid Games website for the art-free pdf version.
With the purchase of Labyrinth Lord came the following purchases, purely driven out of nostalgia and the desire to play these adventures again! I will say that the PODs (print on demand) from DriveThroughRPG are very good and do justice to the original adventures.

- Maze of the Riddling Minotaur This was a fantastic find and one of my first D&D purchases back in 1983. I am looking forward to solo adventuring, minus the invisible ink pen that came with the original adventure. I will tackle this adventure with my newly minted LL paladin.
- Next is a true classic, Ravenloft. Enter the vampire lord of Borovia, Strahd von Zarovich. This one will be used in my Halloween D&D special.
- My original Keep on the Borderlands copy is sitting safely tucked away in the original Moldvay 1981 Dungeons & Dragons Basic set. I will use the POD for the solo adventuring hex crawl that will follow the Maze of the Riddling Minotaur solo play.
The plan is to blog the weekly solo adventures these next few weeks and post them on the Lone Wolf Roleplaying G+ community. Until our next adventure, my friends...
